Contributing
We welcome and encourage original content on any topic as it relates to sustainable living and creating community. For upcoming topics, see the Introduction page. We invite all members of the community to submit their insights and experiences relevant to these issues. Contributions may be submitted at any time. Whether it is a short news item, comment, or longer feature article, we welcome your creativity!
We will attempt to be at all times both accurate and current. The opinions, inferences or calculations within individual news items are the responsibility of the author alone, and the editors of The-Footprint.net do not necessarily support them.
How it works
Users of the site will be able to contribute articles through the article submission form. These stories go into a pool of ‘pending’ stories which are then approved for publication by a team of editors.
To contribute, users must first register at: http://www.the-footprint.net/blog/wp-login.php?action=register
After registration is approved, contributers will be allowed to login and submit articles through an “Organizer” button in the management area.
About the editors
the-footprint.net is edited and maintained by a small number of individuals unaffiliated with any private, government, or institutional body. We obtain no reward or compensation of any kind for maintaining the information herein, and are motivated only by the desire to provide a useful, up-to-date information source for sustainable living, creating community, and related stories.
Editorial Policy
